Steps to getting married at the Old Orange County Courthouse:

1. Couples must complete their marriage license application online prior to visiting any of their offices. Appointments are highly recommended and have priority. Marriage license applications are super straightforward and can be completed in 6 steps at: https://ocweddings.ocrecorder.com/#/
   
   You’ll be able to schedule your appointment (up to 90 days in advance) after you have filled out your personal information required for application and if you have already reached out to me prior to making an appointment, this is where we’ll coordinate my availability with the appointments available at the courthouse.
2. Book your photographer, hair and makeup artist and possibly a florist for your bouquet!
   

   

3. Find your wedding dress and/or your suits.
   For suits, you can always rent one from my friends at Friar Tux
4. Show up early before your appointment time to find parking as parking is limited in their parking lot. There are some street parking in the surrounding streets.

5. Once you have parked, step inside the courthouse using the South Entrance, and check in at one of the many computers in the office so they know you have arrived.
6. When your time is up, a clerk will call your name to go to the counter or desk. They will then verify your information before having the both of you plus your witness sign your marriage license. Congratulations! You’re legally married!

7. If you have requested a formal ceremony, they will ask you to wait a few minutes while they put on their black robe and call your names and your party to an available room where they will conduct a ceremony.  You’ll be able to take photos with your family/friends immediately after the ceremony is over.
